HIKE starting at The Swinging Bridge

Meet on the grass by BIG parking lot PAST the SWINGING BRIDGE.  We can decide how long we want to walk. I allow the dogs a 10 minute introduction as people are arriving. This helps the dogs get to know each other. Patapsco State Park entrance fee is $3 per person. Or $75 seasonal per car, good for all state parks. 5120 South Street, Baltimore, MD 21227 GPS gets you to the park entrance. After turning in the park entrance, please pay the entrance fee at the booth. Continue straight ahead (for about 1.5 miles) and when you reach the intersection, take a LEFT (there is not an option to go forward, you can only turn LEFT or right). Follow the road TWO MILES to the  parking lot at the end of the road past the swinging bridge . Call me with any questions[masked] Rachel Swift.

We will hike about 4miles maybe.

Typically we are finish by 12:30-1pm.

You might get muddy on the trails, so dress accordingly.

Hey Mia, not sure when you got there. We entered the park at about 10:20, they had closed the road to the far parking lot a;ready, has not happened that early on a non-holiday weekend before). We had to walk from the first parking lot about 2 miles (they let people through after that, not sure if they were all for a reserved event), so we did not get to the meetup spot until about 11:00. Sorry, there's usually more people and it's better organized (Neva and I are not official organizers so we did not have a phone number if you provided it when you RSVP'd).

Where is the big grassy area? I see parking lot and bridge but no people. We hiked via Swinging Bridge to Grist Mill. Say. " hi" if you see me and a 70 lb black Lab/German Shepherd mix:)

I'll be in Ocean City this weekend. So I'll leave this on the calendar and to see who RSVP's. Then I'll pick someone who is familiar with the park to be the Host.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
