Hi, I am Kim. I recently rescued a dog and am looking for different activities to socialize him.
I do have a mutt, part sheltie, part papillon, and part chihuaha. He is not the runner type
Hi Kim! Welcome to the group! We're getting a nice amount of people here from the northeast side of town... time for another Gunpowder event soon!
I will find out and touch base with you. I may have another volunteer, Kathy Quinn, contact you as well, since she is active in the orientations, she can let you know sooner. I won't be able to find out for a few days, since I am working. We'll let you know!
If you are interested, we can certainly let you know the times for orientations, and training to walk dogs because we always need more people! As you know, have recently rescued a dog yourself, how critical it is for them, especially while in a stressful place, to get exercised and one-on one attention! Let me know if you have any further questions! Sabrina
Hi Kim- Welcome! We are a group of volunteers who got organized to try to recruit more interest and people to help us walk dogs at the shelter we spend time at, BARCS. Its about 10 minutes up the road from you, next to the Raven's stadium. We would love to have you, and anyone else you know, join us, because we are always in great need to people to help us walk dogs. They have about 100 dogs at any given time that are looking to get walked, and this is totally volunteer dependent.
Hi Kim, welcome to the Balto. Dog Walkers and Runners Group. It's lots of fun and great exercise walking the BARCS dogs. You'll have to register for an orientation and two dog walking classes if you have not already done so. Looking forward to seeing you at BARCS.
Welcome to the group Kim! We look forward to seeing you at an event soon.
