If you are interested, we can certainly let you know the times for orientations, and training to walk dogs because we always need more people! As you know, have recently rescued a dog yourself, how critical it is for them, especially while in a stressful place, to get exercised and one-on one attention! Let me know if you have any further questions! Sabrina

Hi Kim- Welcome! We are a group of volunteers who got organized to try to recruit more interest and people to help us walk dogs at the shelter we spend time at, BARCS. Its about 10 minutes up the road from you, next to the Raven's stadium. We would love to have you, and anyone else you know, join us, because we are always in great need to people to help us walk dogs. They have about 100 dogs at any given time that are looking to get walked, and this is totally volunteer dependent.

Hi Kim, welcome to the Balto. Dog Walkers and Runners Group. It's lots of fun and great exercise walking the BARCS dogs. You'll have to register for an orientation and two dog walking classes if you have not already done so. Looking forward to seeing you at BARCS.
