Are you a runner-type, a hiker-type or a walker-type?

We love hiking usually 2 hours or so during the week nights and 3-5 hours on weekends when time and sun allows. Currently we hike a lot with hiking dogs of Central MD and love the group. The distance of hikes other then when we host are a bit far especially for after work on weeknights. They are mainly in Liberty or further destinations. We noticed your group hikes Gun Powder, Loch Raven and Robert Lee. Those areas along with occasional trips to Pretty boy are the areas we host and hike regularly. It would be great to have more people to hike with out this way. Many times we are the only ones signed up for hikes since most other H.D.O.C. MD who hike regularly seem to live in or near Carroll county.

Do you have a dog you like to run with? What's his/her name and breed?

Yes two dogs Candy retriever mix and Sasha terrier mix.

Do you have a specific microbrewery of which you are particularly fond that you might like to see sponsor?

Radomir drinks beer, He's mostly fond of czech beer, but would enjoy checking out some of the local brewery's. I don't drink beer. we'd both enjoy the winery tours.

Hi Radomir & Mary! Last night I emailed a description of my hike but I don't think you got it. It was about a 3 mile hike. There is a trail on the right side of Guyton Rd approximately 100 yards from where we parked. This trail follows the river before it dead-ends after about 1 - 1.5 miles. There are several trails which branch off of the river trail. I hiked 1 of those trails which went up to a horse stable then looped back to Guyton Rd. I'm not sure if we could get a 5 miler on those trails.

Hey Mary! The heat this summer has done us ALL in. Maggie really hates it, Robbie doesn't seem to care one way or another. I do give them each a piece of frozen fruit after going for our short 15 minute walks and that helps them both cool down. I can't wait for it to cool down either. I keep telling Maggie that we will go and see Sasa and Candy again! I've bought jeans from GW, a sweater from GW and replaced my LL Bean hiking shoes ALL in preparation to hike again!

Hi Mary,
I"m not sure if I'll be doing a hike this weekend. I've been riding my bike on Saturdays and Sundays which doesn't leave much room for hiking. I'll think about it. I hope you're doing well!

Hi Mary, from what I hear, the event went very well-I wasn't at the event (I stayed at the kennel, to assure that all of the rescue dogs got walked). I'm not really certain either, how to set up someone to advertise on our site, unless they initiate through the meetup site. You sound very busy-and hopefully that is a good thing. :-) Be well, Mark
