Clark's Creek Park Geocache Hike

Clark's Creek is a beautiful in-town wilderness park that has at least 6 great geocaches. Bring a GPS if you have one, but we can share and show you how to use one as well.

Bonus: We're also going to mark the route of an old trolley line that ran between Tacoma and Puyallup from about[masked] before the trolley went bankrupt when it fell off a bridge spanning the gorge in the park!

Call or email organizer Chris Chisholm with questions. If you can't make it, just take a look at http://www.geocaching.com/map/ and choose a park or hiking area near you where some geocaches are located.

If you would like a great training on Navigation & Orienteering in advance, check out the Wolf College workshop at Cabela's in Marysville on November 3rd. There used to be a South Sound Geocaching Meetup group, I don't know why it isn't available anymore, but someone could start up a new Geocaching Meetup in Tacoma

Jennifer: Garmin GPS is often the best, depending on model. The trails are pretty good, but the geocaches sometimes require bushwacking off the trail a little ways. Your 13 y/o would be great for that if you point him in the right direction:)

Faith: Not sure about when/if I'll post geocaching events again, but we'll see:)
