This Lenten service was first documented in Constantinople by Pope Gregory [masked]). It includes special Lenten prayers and concludes with Holy Communion blessed on the previous Sunday Liturgy. Orthodox are to fast after Noon if you wish to receive Communion. (Antidoron, or blessed bread, served to guests.)
Join us for a light Lenten supper, Bible study and discussion of the Gospel of St. Mark, afterwards, at approximately 7:15.
