Sorry this Meetup is full from other groups - Hopefully it will be offered again! An abundance of 'to-do' lists exist for Winter Weatherization for the Northeastern home, but few of them are light on the budget or easily accomplished once the cold hits. Join the Andover Energy Group at Sophie Viandier's house for demonstrations and an informational session with topics ranging from the big energy retrofits and system rehabilitations to the small draft stoppers and insulating curtains. We will look at how to conduct your own energy audits and the financing opportunities for home improvements, including the local and state rebates offered. Because building science is full of ever-changing, highly debated methods and theories, we'll look at the leverage points in individual's homes for performing the "Least Change for the Greatest Effect" to get your energy costs down and comfort throughout the winter. Bring examples of your own house--there is no cure-all, magic solution to "button-up" a home as every situation is unique!
"The workshop, free and open to the public, will be limited to 20 participants (8 from our group) because of space constraints. Advance registration is encouraged. You can RSVP here, but also need to Contact Larry Chase at [masked] to sign up."
