The Kearsarge Valley Transition Initiative invites area residents for an early- evening conversation over drinks and hors d'oeuvres on Tuesday, November 12, at Graze Sustainable Table, 207 Main Street in New London. Discussion of “Sustaining and Growing the Local Economy and Why it Matters” will be led by David Lantz, owner of MJ Harrington Jewelers in Newport, on the importance of buying local, spending our money locally, keeping jobs in the community, etc.
$15 admission includes a delicious -and generous- hors d'oeuvres table! A Cash Bar is available.
The event will start with informal conversation with friends and neighbors, drinks, and specially prepared Graze hor d'oeuvers. At 6:00p.m. David will begin his discussion, then at 6:30p.m. we will break for dessert and time for conversation and sharing of ideas.
