Humanists of Minnesota is hosting this event. They say they are pleased to have their very own well-known author and raconteur, George Erickson, kick off the fall season.

A Matter of Degrees reviews the science behind global warming, provides personal examples and images gathered during George?s trips into the far north from 1967 to 2008, offers examples of what to expect in the next few decades, and describes a few of the steps we must take to slow this much ignored-but dangerous process.
