A shout out to the Northeast Transition group:

I like the idea of skill shares. You've got a great list going below. 
How about seed gathering and preservation?  Anybody for learning about 
urban chickens?

My pet project would be the formation of an Hour-Dollar program, to take 
the local economy 'off the grid," away from the extractive Wall Street 
economy.

Hopefully some day I'll make it to the meeting.
