Hi All!
Hour Dollars is our local Time Bank.  www.hourdollars.org  We have 200+ members in the metro exchanging lots of cool services.
Were you interested in learning more about the existing Hour Dollars Time Bank,
or were you interested in starting a new program of shared services?

Hour Dollars serves as our family's alternative economy.
Our family has used Hour Dollars for a variety of services including:  transportation,
child care, meal prep, yard work, sewing, home repair, computer support, alternative health care,
photography, tree trimming, career counseling, pet sitting, tutoring, cleaning, window washing, typing, and more.
Time banking is a parallel economy.  There are four time banks in Minnesota.

If you would like to learn more about Hour Dollars, check out the website www.hourdollars.org

Let me know if you would like to have an orientation set up specifically for Transition Town folks.

I couldn't make the meeting this morning, but hope to do so next time.  I second Karen's idea of skill sharing and I am definitely interested in urban chickens.  Also bee keeping.  Plus I would like to learn a lot more about dollar/hour bartering, or whatever the proper name is.  Perhaps we could have a meeting where people who know about all these things could hold a forum for the rest of us?
