Introduction
Hi. My name is Humberto and I like translating documents from English to Spanish and I enjoy teaching Spanish at different levels.
What is your native language and what language pairs do you wish to study?
Spanish and my language pairs are English and Spanish
How did you learn your other languages? (NOTE: This group requires ADVANCED skills.)
I learned English in High School and college in Peru. Then I finished my undergraduate in New York and I have been living in NY for more than 8 years.
Do you have any previous translation experience--either professionally or as a student?
I translated some legal documents, surveys, articles and letters. I am translating a marketing website and it is a lot of fun. I transcribed short videos in Spanish and translated it into English.
What subject matter would you like to study? (Ex.: legal, medical, political, literary)
I did some legal and commercial translation but I am open to another topics such as health, business, marketing and financial topics.
