Have you made a transmedia project before?

It's happening. My experiment is to see if I can combine a literary novel with a Transmedia experience. The tension btwn the intense experience of a storyworld in a lone reader's mind vs the thrill of collaboration - that's the candy.

What would you most like to get out of being in Transmedia London?

To join a real Transmedia community. I have so much to say and ask and learn and although twitter's ace, I like to meet people in the flesh occasionally!

What do you think you could best contribute to Transmedia London?

I study this stuff from an academic/historical viewpoint so I have a different angle to a lot of writer/producers. I am scarily well-researched. I like to think of myself as a shaved Henry Jenkins figure. I also have dark Zombie LARP connections.

Hello. I'm Rebecca and I'm doing a fancy Creative Writing Phd at UEA, Norwich, where I specialise in Transmedia storytelling. Nobody on the faculty knows what I'm talking about at any given moment. I'm currently writing a sekrit project.
