We've rented a house in San Miguel Mexico April 8-29. Cost is $450 for three weeks, plus $10 per day (or any part of a day) for food (cost includes a P/T chef to cook breakfast and dinner). Airfare is around $500 R/T. Call me, [masked].
July - River Cruise in Russia (prices later this week).
July - Turkey land tour.
Fall - Thailand and Burma (the new hot spot)
Several want to go to Italy (email me and I'll put together a trip)
Anyone else want to go somewhere? tell me where and I'll post it and generate interest email [masked] and I'll find a trip (or you can send me the trip you want to take.

One housekeeping issues Everyone who wants to participate and join Travel Buddies must pay the $10. Meetup's bill is $15 a month and I've already paid $90 and don't have $90 in dues. Send your $10 to Dawn Wolf, 25030 S. Angora Ct., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248 or bring it to the Jan 20 meeting. Those who have not paid, will be removed.

The price is $450 for 2 weeks. We shortened our rental to 2 weeks so everyone will get a refund, providing 7 each pay $450 right now (The $450 includes a refundable security deposit). Or, depending on how much money we collect the $450 might include some of our food.
In any case, if we get all 7 people you'll get some of your $450 back.

The have really GREAT tours, all over the world, they all include air, and are really inexpensive compared to other tour companies.They are so popular you usually have to book far in advance. So take a look and post a trip on the home page under. Join the conversation. I'm not getting any input via email (other than your sign up which has hundreds of destinations). Please be specific and find a trip you want to go on, email me or post it.
Russian trip. You can add your comments on the Meetup site for everyone to read. Let me know if you are still interested or would rather take a less expensive land trip somewhere this summer. These quotes were all for July 2013.

Russian River Cruise
All quotes are plus $2200 air R/T Phoenix quoted by the ship (you can get it cheaper yourself.)Viking River Crise $9000 pp which are sold out for 2013
The Uniworld and AMA are $5-6000 pp with a few vacancies
The good news is the Russian ships are ¼ - 1/3 the price.
The bad news is they are tourist class ships and the rooms are 105sf
You can see they by google MS Lilvinow or MS Zosima Shashkov. They are not luxury by any stretch of the imagination.
11 days MS Lilvinov starts at $2300 double and $3049 single. (23 meals)
12 days MS Zosima Shashkov starts at $1900 double and $2520 single (29 meals)
Visa cost between $50-75.The question is, do you want to see Russia or do you want a luxury cruise to see Russia? This summer Russia is only available roughing it. you can’t have both unless you want to go on AMA Waterways and pay $8200 to share a cabin.
