We are renting a 7 passenger mini-van and staying over night in Long Island at the Holiday Inn Express. Leaving at 8:00 AM from Lakeland Winery on Saturday, September 19th and returning about 10-11PM Sunday the 20th.
Some people have expressed surprise that Long Island is a grape destination. About 20-25 years ago, the local farmers realized they could make more money from grapes than from potatoes. Read more
