Travel 2.0 Spring 2013 Pre-NYTF Happy Hour at Professor Thom's

Hey Travel 2.0-ers,

Let's celebrate the warm weather and the fact that our group has crossed 800 members by hanging out with fellow travel entrepreneurs and online media friends!

When:
Friday April 19, 2013, 7-9 PM
Where: Professor Thom’s Loft, 219 2nd Ave, NY NY
Cost: Free admission and cash bar

We’ll be running this happy hour in conjunction with the NY Trav Fest which will be happening Sat April 20 at Bohemian National Hall and Sun April 21 with tours in all five boroughs. Details here: http://nytravfest.com Purchase tickets here: http://bitly.com/NYTF2013

The goal of NY Trav Fest is to reinvent the consumer travel show for a crowd seeking more interaction and a better sense of NYC and beyond.

For the happy hour the night before, we’ll be at Professor Thom's Loft (upstairs). The bar is located on 2nd Ave just south of 14 St. When you walk in, look for the stairs to the right. We'll be there from 7pm to 9pm. I'll probably be there by 6:30.

Anyone interested in travel and mobile startups and technology is invited! Bring your friends but please ask them to RSVP here or add them as a guest so we can get a head count.

Don’t forget to bring your business cards!

Website: www.professorthoms.com
Directions: The 3rd or 1st Avenue L trains are closest, but it's walkable from any train that stops at Union Square.

We would appreciate it if you would tweet the event using the hashtags #travel20, #traveltech and/or #nytech.

As always, if you know people who are interested in travel and mobile startups and technology, please feel free to invite them to join our group!

Thanks, and I hope to see you on April 19th!

Looking forward to meeting everyone. I just launched a search and rating engine were traveling professionals can find the best coffee shops with free WiFi, power outlets to recharge their laptops, and great coffee to recharge themselves. Check it out here: http://coffices.co

Can't make it either - stuck in Boston with this lockdown nonsense. Looking forward to the next!

My plus-1 can't make it, but I'll still be heading over shortly! So now there's one more spot for any last-minute walk-ins.
