London Travel Massive, Christmas Meetup

Come and join us on 11 December for some Christmas drinks at London Travel Massive

This year we're going to The Warwick a lovely bar between Piccadilly and Oxford Circus, on Warwick Street.  On 11 December, from the usual time of 6:30.

Expect the usual mix of networking and drinks, with the best and nicest people that the London travel industry has to offer!  As usual, expect a mix of journalists, PRs, startups, bloggers, tour operators etc.

If you have any questions about this, or anything Travel Massive related, then please just e-mail Michael ([masked]) or Vicky ([masked]) and we'll get straight back to you.

Remember to follow the #TravelMassive hashtag on Twitter for all the latest updates.

We will have some information on a sponsor for this one, so watch this space...

Michael, I enjoyed the event; albeit the pub was noisy and it was difficult to hear, but that's not your fault and I made do. Thanks for putting it together. I think it was that the music was a tad too loud :-).

I was able to meet five new people which I thought was good since I had to head back to Reading as well as do some additional errands that night.

I also got to talk with a few friends I'd met before so it was a successful night for me. Networking is what you make of it; so just make the most of it folks :).

Heated debate on a cold day? :) In my opinion - it was noisy, but the networking was good at the same time. Michael - if you need a big free venue next time, let me know. Btw, some of you have asked me about this, so here is a networking tip for Monday eve: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/startup-grind-london-hosts-bernhard-niesner-founderceo-of-busuu-tickets-9318252143

Marian, yes, any recommendations for venues are welcome. It can be tough finding the right one in London. Thanks for coming along :)

Oh God. Networking in a noisy pub. Whose idea was that? I wish organisers would specify that it's a drinking only event .

I disagree Nathalie. I got some seriously good contacts out of the evening. You just need to buck up and get amongst the spirit while networking. Even a few big CEO's were lurking and enjoying the festivities. Not every networking event is about being straight-faced and professional, suited and booted, soft-spoken and PC. It was a great night and i think 99% of attendees would agree!

The spirit of networking??? Yelling?i don't doubt that big CEO drank at the pub but they din't really need to network. 99% didn't agree. I got emails from other people. But that's not even relevant. You have my comment. What you do us up to you. I just don't like it when people waste my time. Next time, write: noisy location. That way everybody can make an informed choice.
