Property Tax Protest at Travis CAD

Friday, August 1st, is the deadline for the Travis Assessor to present expected tax take to taxing entities - appraisal roll and collection rate estimate for the current year to the governing body (or soon after) (Sec. 26.04).

This is when the aggregate tax take finally hits home. Now is the time for property taxpayers to rise up and protest the ridiculously unsustainable property tax increases - private property is being abolished and replaced with perpetual rent bills owed to the tax takers.

Please plan to join us at this lunch hour protest! We'll gather along the sidewalk & parking lot outside the Travis CAD office; press conference at 12:30 and we'll be all done before 1:00. We need a good group for media participation!
