Introduction

To help educate communities one family at a time, about the advantages of owning backyard chickens; to promote awarenesss & advocate the changing of laws that prohibit the right to raise healthy backyard chickens in urban & suburban areas everywhere.

How long have you owned chickens?

Since April 2, 2009! Just 9 weeks and we have grown to love them so much we are inspired to help as many others have flocks of their own!

What breed of chickens do you own?

We currently have 4 Delawares, 4 Jersey Giants, and 4 Golden Buffs!

What do you like most about owning chickens?

They are clean, low-maintenance pets that provide healthy eggs and a laundry list of educational opportunites for our 5 children!

How many people (other than yourself) have you helped get started owning chickens?

We have owned our backyard chicken flock for only a few short weeks and in that short time we have helped one other family and have inspired many others.
