These are moderate trails with some steps. The Lake trail is relatively new and is 1.9 miles. Great views as you walk around the lake so bring your camera. There is a waterfall as the water passes over the damn. The Carrick's Creek trail is around 2 miles with some steps and roots that you will have to walk over. Both trails should take around 3 hrs allowing time for a 20 minute break after the Lake Trail and time to take pictures. There is a $2.00 @ person park fee but Art Johns will be able to take 6 with his annual State Park pass. We will meet at the park office on the East side of HWY 11 for Table Rock State Park. Parking is ample and fee at the park office. The muster time is 9:30 AM and we will leave the park office parking lot at 9:45 AM and try to start the hike at 10:00 AM. Table Rock is on HYW 11. Go directly to the trail head parking lot after 9:45 AM. The trail head is around 3 miles from where the fee is paid and close to the lake. We will meet in the parking lot by the Lake. Look for "Coop", Jake and Bailey his two Cocker Spaniels. Please bring trail mix, a snack, fruit and something to drink for the midway point. The lower water falls at Table Rock is very pretty and has benches for us to relax, take pictures, and eat our snack. For those who want to car pool you can meet at BiLo in Seneca or Clemson depending on where you are coming from. Coordinate your car pooling efforts via the website email or via telephone. Please allow time to commute from Seneca or Clemson to Table Rock - 45 minutes should work unless you get behind a turnip truck. Dogs are welcome on the two trails if they are on a leash, have good social skills, and are well behaved. Jim Cooper will be leading this hike with Art Johns providing the car pooling transportation. "Coop's" cell phone number will be provided later. We have 9 attending thus far and the maximum number will be 15. Please update your RSVP as it changes. See you there.
