Thanks Ken! Learned quite a bit. I've had my camera about 3 month and today was my 1st time i've actually using it, got some very helpful pointer and look forward to actually reading the dreadful manual and trying some more of the settings we learned. Well worth the drive!! I drove down from Boca after work this morning.

Awesome! I learned more from Ken in this one afternoon that I did on my own over the past 8 months of owning this camera. Now, my good shots will be by design, not accident. :-)

What makes TRI-COUNTY Adventures the greatest meetup group in South Florida is that it has ADVENTURES in the TRI-COUNTY area! Plus, it has 18 organizers that all have their own interests and niches!! Ken, thanks so much for helping us expand into Miami! In December I traveled the 40 minutes from Coral Springs to the Wynwood area of Miami to do the photography/graffiti walk with Ken. It was an absolutely lovely afternoon and it was wonderful to get out of boring old Coral Springs and absorb the flavor and culture of Miami, a vibrant city which is loved by people all over the world. Ken is an excellent organizer who has tons of patience and, like most organizers gives of his time simply to create amazing experiences for others.

Thanks for all you do Ken, I'm really hoping to get to one of your model shoots soon!!!! :)

Hey everybody. These events are in Miami. Ken takes his time out to do these. Please respect Ken's time and passion. I live in delray beach and drive to Miami all the time. Did I mention that this event is free?

Maybe it's because I haven't lived here that long, but in SoFL, isn't everything of interest or worth going to at least a 30-60 minute drive in any direction?

      3 · May 17, 2013

    • Ken

Plus its free!!! I have seen/known lesser photogs charging $100 (specifically a hack in Miami Beach) or more and they don't offer the one-on-one assistance that I try to provide; nor do they cover the basics like I do...

Hi Everyone!! I am looking forward to working with you all tomorrow!

    Please be sure to bring:

1). Free handy guide I created (download and print) http://files.meetup.com/451023/FStop_Lighting_Workshop.pdf

2). Your camera's instruction manual (if you dont have it that is ok, or you can usually download one for free from the internet)

    3). Bottled Water, etc.

4), Since we will be outdoors, sunscreen and/or a hat are always a great idea!

My cell:[masked] *If you call and I miss it, please leave a voicemail or text me!!

  • Ken

Hi everyone!!! I am glad that so many people want me to travel to thier areas to hold these workshops. Unfortunately, since I am DONATING my time and resources to put on these free workshops, it is really not beneficial for me to travel outside of Miami (Not to mention that I have a very busy schedule for both photography and video production). If the subject interests you; you will need to travel to Miami. These are free workshops, so even with paying for Gas they are considerably cheaper than what many charge for workshops that teach less and without the personal one-on-one instruction that I provide. Thanks for all of your interest, I look forward to working with everyone. Thanks!
