Please join us and be part of our Beach Night tradition!
You will love the breathtaking sunsets that turn into moonlit nights as we engage in fun conversations, laughter and listen to the waves crashing nearby.
I consider it an honor to be taking over as host of these memorable nights as we wish Kathy F and Rick the very best in their new adventures in upstate New York.
Beach night is quite simply-- awesome!! Friendships are forged and rekindled. New members are welcomed to the group and instantly feel they are part of something special. It’s the perfect venue to relax and enjoy the best of South Florida. Bring something to sit on, a bite to eat and a drink for yourself (sharing is okay too). Low key is the name of the game here. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people in a very relaxed setting.
The parking meters on the street take quarters. It is $1.25 an hour and after 8 p.m. it is free. If you park in the anchor parking lot across the street, which is a good idea if there aren’t any spaces on the street, be sure to move your car to the street by 8 (when parking becomes free) as they lock up the gate and bathrooms then.
When we started this 4 years ago, it was just a handful of us. Last year we consistently had over 50 people joining us. This season is becoming just as memorable.
I will post weather updates as needed. Remember this is South Florida! It could be raining by your house and sunny a block away!
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the beach and keeping the tradition going!
