Impromtu Dinner and Live Music w optional wine

Looks like my salamander hike is being postponed due to a case of salamander shyness! (the little buggers aren't coming out yet) Not wanting to sit home on a Saturday night, here is my alternative offer.

Let's meet at 7pm for dinner at College Hill Coffeehouse. They offer free live music from 730-930. (tips appreciated) Saturdays offering is:

Saturday  March 3 – Angela Minton returns

At an early age, Angel had a wide variety of musical interests including that of Elvis Presley,
Amy Grant, James Taylor, Carole King and Heart.  She bounced into the local music scene in the mid 90s performing solo and with her duo Out in the Open and her bank On the Loose.  Here in Cincinnati, Angela had the pleasure of performing with recording artists such as Amy Grant, Zoe Lewis, Edie Carey, 2 Chicks and a Drum, Tret Fure, Jen Foster and Kim Boyce.  Come hear the wide ranging genre Angela will perform for us covering such artists as Keith Urban, the Eagles, Terri Clark, Lady Antebellum and others.

College Hill coffeehouse offers great light bites, salads, sandwiches, and local favorites. Their claim to have the best guacamole on the planet is no fish tale!! Prices are reasonable. Here is the link for the menu. Of course, if money is tight or you already had dinner, they do offer the best coffee and teas around.

After, those who wish can walk down to Marty's to hear live jazz (free , but again they pass the tip jar for the musicians) and enjoy a glass of wine.

Fun, great conversation and friends. Even found someone willing to help me knock hiking The Camino off my bucket list.

I don't mean to disagree with Yargerdave but I, myself, would not park at the Presby. church and walk to and from the College Hill Coffee Co. at night. It's at least six blocks between the two locales. I would only do it if I was a ninja. OK in the daytime tho.

I don't know who much parking is available there. College Hill Presbyterian Church is a short walk and there is nothing going on there tonight.

Big parking lot in the back of all these buildings. Not much parking on Hamilton. If you park on the side streets, park in a well-lit spot and try to travel in groups. I'm not trying to scare anyone off and I have had no problems when in College Hill but I am cautious just like in Northside where I live.
