SAFETY SIGN IN: Everyone will sign in before launching: your name, Emergency contact person and phone number. With many paddlers being 50+, I realized if someone required 911, I do not know last names or who to call. This list is kept in my dry bag during the paddle, then shredded when I get home. Hopefully we will never have to use it. :D

Wow...it was so awesome to be able to check out everyone's pictures! Thanks to everyone who took the photos and extra time to get them up and visible to the group!

What do people think is the best way to get to rt 50 from Kenwood? I'll take 222 south to 32 east to old 32 east to park. Too much rush hour traffic on 71, 275, 32

If you take 222 to Batavia, turn left at UDF, go through main street (old 32) all the way to the camp entrance.

Hi Kathy. When we camped at East Fork mother's day weekend the ramp still wasn't opened. They are revamping the campgrounds, you couldn't drive down the hill. Hopefully they're done.

Hi. I am new to this group and have a few questions. Can I bring my 8 year old son to this paddle? And would someone be able to help me get my tandem off and on my car? Thank you !

    • Kathy J.

Welcome Sonja, You know your son better than anyone, If you think he is able, then of course bring him! Members are always helping each other load and unload the kayaks. Just be sure to arrive early, because @ 6:30 pm, we will all be paddling away! See you at the lake!
