We are returning to the public beach on the Bethel Side.
When – Launch time will be 6:30 PM...plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before. If you run a little late, please call,
What To Bring – PFD and all your summer-weather stuff...sun hat / water / sun Screen / bug spray, lights, dry clothes, dry shoes, safety equipment, lights
Directions: From SR 125, east towards bethel: SR 125 to Williamburg-bantam (turn at the stop light for sr 222 south & sr 125 east) Enter the park from the south side, past the main rangers station. Follow the signs to the beach!
Launch sites: We will meet to the right of the public beach in the grassy area, look for kayaks, cars and pickups!

Weather Forecast – High 80's with lots of sun, followed by darkness.
Experience – Suitable for…beginners, experienced: , long and short Kayaks
SPEED/DISTANCE: We have been exploring the bays and fingers of EastFork. Don't forget your SUNGLASSES, we will paddle west toward the sunset when returning to the beach.
Post-Paddle Sustenance –Every one bring a chair and refreshment, and we can hang out for a little while! Maybe have a lil' bon fire!!

SAFETY SIGN IN: Everyone will sign in before launching: your name, Emergency contact person and phone number. With many paddlers being 50+, I realized if someone required 911, I do not know last names or who to call. This list is kept in my dry bag during the paddle, then shredded when I get home. Hopefully we will never have to use it. :D
