SAFETY SIGN IN: Everyone will sign in before launching: your name, Emergency contact person and phone number. With many paddlers being 50+, I realized if someone required 911, I do not know last names or who to call. This list is kept in my dry bag during the paddle, then shredded when I get home. Hopefully we will never have to use it. :D

Waited till 6:45, watched the weather channels, said you are all adults, responsible for your selves...... then we launched. Just wait for the pictures, amazing cloud formations, beautiful sunset, warm blazing bonfire, hotdogs and s'mores!!

I'm looking forward to being with kindred kayakers! The weather forecast is showing possible thunderstorms. Does someone notify us if an event is cancelled?

They usually will update it. The weather man says storms...but the radar shows nothing....hmmmm.

If everyone picks up a couple pieces of wood around the beach, drive way and woods that would be great! Bring your own refreshments, chair and a snack to share!
