EASTFORK 7/23/13 SR 222 Ramp




This ramp is the most westerly ramp, off of State Route 222. Easy to find! From the north, try rt. 50 to 222 south,

from Ky, try rt 50 to 132 0r 222 north.

We are returning to the Boat Ramp near the Dam,

Enter the Park from SR 222,   Slade Road, Over the   Dam and turn right down to the ramp. Restroom or port a potty available.

When – Launch time will be  6:30PM  ...plan to arrive 15-20
minutes before. If you run a little late,  please call,

What To Bring – PFD and all your summer gear, dry
clothes, dry shoes, safety equipment, (Whistle, Rope)  lights,  sun glasses, hats

Restrooms & Picknic table – Flush toilets!!  At the boat

Experience – Suitable for…beginners, experienced: , long and short Kayaks

SPEED/DISTANCE: We have been exploring the bays and fingers of EastFork. The plan for tonight is TBD!

Post-Paddle Sustenance –Usually Wendy's located by the
Krogers & Walmart..  (They offer a Senior Discount!)

Liability Waiver – As always, by joining in
this event you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to abide by the Tri-State Kaykers liability waiver. You can find this waiver in the Files section of the Tri-State Kayakers web site.

SAFETY SIGN IN: Everyone will sign in before
launching: your name, Emergency contact person and phone number. I realized if someone required 911, I do not know last names or who to call. This list is kept
in my dry bag during the paddle, then shredded when I get home. Hopefully we will never have to use it. :D
