I would like to meet new kayakers and introduce hiking friends to the greatest stress-busting pasttime I know! I'm hoping that the ideas and interests of the group will generate new kayaking adventures and skill-building for all.
An 11'6" Hurricane Santee Sport. I also have an inflatable tandem for others to borrow.
Any time my oldest grandson is sharing my kayak I'm ecstatic, whether at Pictured Rocks (Lake Superior) or last weekend at Grayson Lake.
Carpool to members favorite kayak spots, share our boats with others to generate more interest in the sport, invite experienced kayakers to increase our skills.
The inlets of Grayson, Laurel River, Dale Hollow, Cave Run, East Fork lakes at sunset or during the "game du jour" when no one is around but the birds!
"Kayak name is "Lady in Red""
By joining together we can share ideas, boats, and information, plan trips and carpool together, and have a great time!

Janet, Are you going on the tour? I didn't receive a check from you yet. Just wanted to see if you were still interested. I need the check by 9/1 as I am buying the tickets then. Thanks, Pam
Hi Janet, I will be in Texas on Sunday and not able to attend the New Richmond Paddle. Would you be able to somehow look for other TSK members at the launch point? A John Pirro is wanting to meet up with others and I think he only has a canoe. Let me know how it turns out.
Larry
Janet...Thanks for reminding me about the $3.00 fee. I'll update the event info. Hope your hands are getting better. Tom
Janet...Going with Sunday Aug 7th because of a big antique farm equipment gathering on Saturday. Tom
Janet...I'm going to put a Demo Day on the board for Aug 6/7...Saturday or Sunday. Which day do you think would be best for widest attendance by newbies and participation by regulars with boats? Also hope your hand surgery went well. Let me know...Tom
Janet...Here's the link to SERVAS that I mentioned on Saturday http://joomla.servas.org/content/blog...![]()
It's a wonderful organization. Tom
Thanks Janet...I'm looking at sometime in late July but first I have to check some resources to see if the creek will even be passable at that low-water time of year. Then maybe I can set up something before, or those who know might be able to join in on the paddle. We'll work all that out sometime next week after Muskingum. Tom
Janet...I'm looking around for interesting things to do with the group on the water and came across an old trip you put together to the eagle's nest at Versailes Park. You mention going up a feeder creek to the north, but I see two such creeks...Laughr
ey and Cedar Creeks. Which one did you go on to find the nest? And what about camping on a weekend...ever done it? Anything you can offer would help because I'm putting together a summer list now. Thanks...Tom
