What type kayak(s) do you own (or can borrow)?

Pelican Burst SE sit-on-top; formerly Old Town Otter; seeking Jackson Mini Tripper.

What is your most interesting kayaking experience?

My first time out, ever, was the gorge section of the Elkhorn -- Class III after spring rains -- no sprayskirt; whoo-hoo!

What would you like to see this group do?

Paddles near my home, lol! Prefer riding moving water or meandering in small ponds to working hard on larger bodies of water.

Where are your favorite places to kayak?

Elkhorn Creek in Frankfort, Mill Creek Lake and Red River in Slade, Guist Creek Lake and Lake Shelby in Shelbyville, Blue River in Indiana, Green River at Mammoth Cave, Little Miami in Ohio.

Long-time hiker, paddler, cyclist, contra/ECD dancer, photographer, and outdoors enthusiast stuck in Frankfort.

What Ellen is saying about this Meetup Group

Safety in numbers and thrift in self-shuttles. Great locations and good company; can't beat that with a stick... Or a paddle... Remember: once you go 'yak, you never go back!
