We are not drinking a lot but GOOD (AND ADVENTURE SOMETIMES)

The club meets once a month on Friday. Each time we have a theme for wine tasting. Such as " Wine made by unique grape (varietal) ".

Each member will bring a bottle of red or white wine that are NOT on below varietal list:

Cabernet Sauvignon/Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay/Pinot Grigio/Zinfandel/Primitivo/Merlot/Malbec/Sangiovese/ Syrah/ Petit Syrah/Pinot Noir/ Tempranillo /Ganache/Cabernet Franc/Bianca Malvasia/Muscat/Chinon Blanc/Gamay/Riesling/Nebbiolo/ Barbera/ Petit Verdot/ Albariño/ Muscadet/ Sémillon

Member post the name of the wine and varietal. Other member will not bring the same varietal wine. Our goal is to have different varietal each bottle.

Bring:
• Your favor WINE GLASS (with your personal mark)
• A Hors d'oeuvres or appetizer you think best to go with your wine
• A note about your wine (or send me earlier so I can print them out together)

Members will all in " wait list". As soon as you post your wine, we will move you to the attendee. We have 16 seats only. Please show your wine recipe and prepare some cash. We would try to even out the wine cost by per person for everyone.

    Hi Miggi,
I've been spending the afternoon preparing my food for tonight and realizing I'm not feeling well - achy, headache, feels like the flu. We're really disappointed but need to cancel. Don't want to make everybody else sick. We'll have a great dinner with lamb kebabs, tzatziki, zaatar and the Greek wine. Wish we could share with the rest of you. Looking forward to meeting everyone next time.

Miggie, is there a particular format for the evening? For example, will we all be sampling one varietal at a time and talking about it, or will people be sampling them as they please?

Hi Miggi, I am very interested in attending. If all 16 show up will everyone get to taste each wine varietal? Or will we split into two groups? 16 pours from one wine bottle is a lot. And the mixing of 16 wines may be a bit too much for some people. Maybe we can agree to taste six wines, but buy two bottles of each. I guess it depends on how many will attend.
