Introduction

I like cooking, lasers, DIY, and so much more. I have been an avid cook for a long time, but now I really want to step it up in terms of knowledge and skill.

What is the best wine you had last month and why? Where is your favor wine shop?

I like wine, but I cook with it a lot more than I drink it. My method to date is to get a good recommendation, I usually like reds vs. whites, and stay local.

What are the places have you traveled?

A few places in America, Mexico once, and Thailand.

What do you like to do in the free time?

Cook, read, and pursue various hobbies as they capture my interest.

Tell us something about yourselves.

I love to bake bread. Lately I have been getting into the science of cooking, as well. I have been looking at everything from Modernist Cuisine to Cook's Illustrated to cooking on salt blocks. The amount of information is staggering. I am also trying to figure out how to be a foodie on a budget in the southbay. It's an ongoing project.

    Hi Tim,

I haven't tried it myself but I would be interested to see it done :) and maybe others could be interested too. The closest to old school synth for me is the SID music chip (I have some boards built from www.midibox.org.).

If you want to talk about cool audio circuits, many in the meetup would be interested.
