We are not going to drink a lot but good.
Riesling is a white grape variety which originated in the Rhine region of Germany. Riesling is an aromatic grape variety displaying flowery, almost perfumed, aromas as well as high acidity. Riesling is a variety which is highly "terroir-expressive", meaning that the character of Riesling wines is clearly influenced by the wine's place of origin.
Simply bring one bottle from list and share with everyone. If you have a good one on your list, you can bring them too. Miggi and Michael will be just back from Germany. We will have a story about Riesling to share with you.
The club meet once a month on Friday. Each time we will have a theme for wine tasting. Such as "the varietal grape of Zinfandel". Each member will bring a bottle of Zinfandel to share with everyone. In this case we will taste and learn many Zinfandel in one night. The terrior makes wine taste different. I strongly recommend member give organizer the name of the wine. We will have a list so other people try not to bring the similar location wine.
Simple Hors d'oeuvres will be provide.
For some wine enthusiast but don't know what to bring. We will have a wine list in wine shop located in Pleasanton name "Wine Steward" (15 minutes far from Miggi’s kitchen).
Bring your favor Riesling glass too.
Our wine shopping list is in
Wine Steward 641 Main Street Pleasanton, CA 94566-6603 (925) 600-9463
