We're back! Our Inaugural Blue Note Grill Monthly Beer Tasting was a Smashing Success! It's time for round two. This month we're going to hit you with a fab assortment from the Pale Ale family, including some of its bigger brothers & style representatives from family members on both sides of the Big Pond. We'll start with a classic English Pale, and blaze up to one arrogant Strong American Ale; expect an IPA or two in between. Don't miss it!
Please join us this Weds. April 17th, for six great beers, free live music, and the area's best ribs, burgers & vegetarian fare. Expect six pours of 5-6 oz. each. Cost is $12; no special glass needed. Runs 7 - 10pm; show up any time in between and drink at your own pace, whichever order you like!
*(Yes, our title's a play on the '67 chart-topping debut song "A Whiter Shade of Pale" by English band Procol Harum. Presumably, "the lyrics concern a drunken seduction" [Wikipedia], an appropriate notion for our slate of pales.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb3iPP-tHdA
