7th Annual NC Black Friday Cask Festival

Who needs a big tv for $300 off when you can sample cask beer from over two dozen North Carolina breweries??!! The NC Black Friday Cask Festival is always scheduled for the day after Thanksgiving from 3:00pm to 8:00pm! This event is a fundraiser for the NC Brewers Guild and this year looks to be the most widely attended ever! As our fellow NC brewers send us info on what they are bringing to the party we will post a list of attendees and styles. In the meantime tickets are available through Eventbrite at or you can buy them at the door ($35 in advance, $45 at the door). This cask festival is limited to one cask submission per brewery, features only NC breweries, and is attended by dozens of the brewers and staffers from your favorites! If you've never tried one before a Cask is a special keg that the beer has been naturally carbonated in and the beer is served at cellar temperature (55F). Many of the casks have been specially dry hopped and/or have had specially ingredients added to the beer.

This event is 21 years or older. Food Truck’s are on premise throughout the event. DJ Ras J is typically here spinning the tunes.

Please feel free to contact Doc with any questions, look forward to seeing you all there!

Always a great selection of unique brews. You'll taste everything from juniper berries to habanero peppers, trending towards the dark and winter side of the spectrum. I look forward to my fourth BFCF.
