For November, we plan to experience an interesting mix of unusual lagers from around the globe: Brazil, Sri Lanka, Germany, and the good ol' USA. And, this is no wimpy light summer selection. Assuming no unforeseen last minute changes (or freak storms), we'll be sampling dark lager, rye lager, spiced lager, winter doppelbock, imperial lager, and even pumpkin lager! (You didn't think we'd let you off this entire fall without a single pumpkin beer, now did you?) And, in case you were wondering, a lager is just a type of beer distinguished by the type of yeast and cooler fermentation temperatures.
Please come and join us the evening of Wednesday, November 7th, for an unique journey through the world of dark and intriguing lagers. Six pours, approximately 6 oz. each. Your cost is $12 for the tasting, plus $3 for a J.J. tasting glass - if you don't already have one from a previous tasting. Runs from 7pm to 10pm; show up any time inbetween and taste at your own pace. Don't forget your glass!
