Main: Creating Windows 8 applications with MVVM

Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) pattern is the de-facto standard for creating applications in WPF, Silverlight and Windows Phone. Using MVVM allows developers to leverage platform features like DataBinding, Routed Events, Routed Commands, DataTemplates and ResourceDictionaries to create maintainable and testable applications. Windows 8 applications continue this tradition and you will learn how to create Windows 8 apps using MVVM.

Ash is passionate about creating software and finding ways to improve his craft. He has been a .NET developer since the .NET 1.0 Beta was released in 2000. For more than a decade, Ash has built software components, applications and frameworks encompassing desktop and web clients, middleware components and databases.
