I experienced what I'd been seeking both in this group and in opera. Everything flowed into what was for me an intensely moving whole. Thank you!

Dear Kassie, It was so nice seeing you again. You seemed to enjoy the opera very much,(lots of hankies). It was a wonderful production and had moments of great and powerful emotions. Let me know if you have a preference for CD's or DVD productions.

Like Ekaterina, I had seen this modern treatment before and enjoyed it much more this time as I was less distracted by the oversized clock, lurking doctor and underwear. This time the orchastra and the voices were all in all.

To quote Joel, this is as good as opera gets. We had a record number of cancellations (5) but picked up two. Thanks Kassi and Joel!

this was my second watching of this particular production of Traviata and it turns out to be even more powerful. The story is a simple melodrama but singing and acting tuned it to a real profound drama

This Traviata was opera at its finest. We rarely see this level singing combined with an equal level acting. I enjoyed it immensely. Thanks again, Steve!

I love La Traviata and this was a wonderful, heartfelt production. It was fascinating to see another facet of Netrebko's artistry: A really great singing actress. Thanks again Steve
