Met HD Live: Zandonai’s Francesca da Rimini

Zandonai's compelling opera, inspired by an episode from Dante's Inferno, returns in the Met's ravishingly beautiful production, last seen in 1986. Dramatic soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek and tenor Marcello Giordani are the doomed lovers. Marco Armiliato conducts. - Metropolitan Opera

I concur with Steve. It is puzzling that the MET does this opera so infrequently. Gorgeous music, at times sounding like Puccini, at others like R. Strauss and occasionally hints of Wagner. Really glad I saw and heard it.

Costumes, set, and music were wonderful and my friend enjoyed the performance. May have made a convert.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
