On her way to a convent, Manon stops at in inn, falls in love with Des Grieux but flees to Paris with an elderly roué, tempted by wealth. Now in our eighth year, Triangle Opera Appreciation is a small group of down-to-earth, gay-friendly opera lovers who enjoy experiencing opera together. We meet every third Sunday or so in a "club house" in North Raleigh. The recreation room is spacious and comfortable, and features a wall mounted high definition television set.
We require that members be active, attending one event at least every two to three months. Inactive members are asked to leave.
