Alright ladies and gentlemen, since this is the first big event for the season I'm going to explain every thing I can think of. Even if you're an experienced TSFer, you should read the entire thing.
TAILGATE:
We have decided to move the tailgate back to its original location. This is in the small grove of trees just NE of the Box office and East of the funny statue. Click here for a map.
These tailgates are like a pot luck, if you plan to eat, please bring a little food for everyone to share. We will also have a portable grill that you can cook on. Cutlery, plates, and napkins will be provided.
Like the brewmasters below, use the comments section to tell everyone what you're bringing (and avoid an overabundance of one type of food).
Tailgate starts at 5. My father and I will be there a little early setting up, come early if you want to help.
BIG PROBLEM THOUGH!!! And we need your help. TSF does not have enough tables to accomadate a 50+ person tailgate. Therefore, if ANY of you have a table or 2 that you would like to bring to the tailgate so we can use for the buffett and beer... please do. I'm begging.
BREWFEST:
A few of the homebrewers in the club are up for doing another homebrew fest. If you brew your own beer and want to share with fellow club members at the first tailgate! Feel free to join!
As part of the homebrew fest, we will be taking donations! With a suggested donation of 5 dollars, you will get your very own commemorative plastic cup. The homebrewers will be sharing their beer. They only ask for comments. Don't be too mean ;-).
I have no regrets about the year I spent not being able to be at these tailgates... but man does the alternative feel good.

The beer was excellent. Thanks to everyone for bringing out all the food, drinks, tables, tents, grills, etc. Awesome!

We'll be coming, We'll be coming, We'll be coming down the rail. When you hear the noise of the Carolina boys, we'll be coming down the rail.

"Celebrate"
There are moments
Too infrequent
That we crave
When the constellation
Of boys on the field
Aligns with fate
Stars are right
Ball falls to orange
Standing with friends
Singing as one
Voice silenced
By anticipation's
Involuntary gasp
We see the potential
Without deliberation
Reflexively realizing
One of those moments
Is here
The ball blazes
From foot
To foot
To head
To net
These are moments
Too infrequent
That we celebrate

I will very probably not arrive until about 5:30, at which point I shall be recharging the homebrew supply. I'll probably wind up parking inconveniently, given that it'll be an hour after things start, so if somebody wants to help me haul beer I'll be rather keen on the notion.
(Also: I don't just want to drink my own, so I'd love to have a bit of the other stuff still around when I get there... but if it's not, well, I'm not bringing anything I don't like.)

102 now! Zowie! I'm sure that when people arriving for the game see a 100+ people "over there" the crowd will grow! Perhaps a bullhorn may be need to make a GRAND entrance to the field!?

Got my tickets! Bringing my card table and some brats -- Looking forward to good beer and good times! See you there! I'll try to be a bit early to assist with setup (since I'm bringing a card table).
April 6, 2011
I will be there early also. I will have the grill with me and Ken B. may bring a charcoal grill. In addition to the table for the grill I will also be bringing two more tables. My contribution is some bratwurst.
April 3, 2011
Since this is my first, i'll stick to the basics and bring the standard fare.. some brats, burgers, and dogs. Also available to help on the grill.

After chatting with Javier about tasty South American food before the Charleston game, I've changed my mind. Instead of the cream ale, I'm bringing a bit of Venezuelan guarapo de piña.
March 21, 2011
I think I'm going to bring chorizos and chimichurri. Seems to be everybody's favorite things.
March 21, 2011
I'm bringing a fresh lime infused lager, Tecate' ! and a table ! Good Choice hosting it in the grove of trees, that way all the other fans can see what F-U-N we have !
March 15, 2011
I've got a banana-bread brown ale in bottles and a sage-infused kolsch in the fermenter (and it should be ready for April). Haven't decided which I'm bringing, or if I'm bringing both.
March 7, 2011
I'll bring some pre-prohibition-style cream ale (bigger and hoppier than the modern style but still a refreshing beer for hot days) and some tropical stout (an unusually vinous sub-style originating in the Caribbean).
March 7, 2011
Nice! I have a Red Hook ESB clone that I'll bottle this week. ABV should be around 4.75%.

Brewing a Saison for the HomeBrew Fest. What's a Saison? A French farmhouse ale with a complex spiciness, refreshing level of hops and honey like notes. About 5.8% ABV.
