Jacob Riis Park
Invites you to our
Grailwood’s Beach Ritual for Lammas
A blessed Calan Awst! Join us in an ocean ritual taking place on Saturday the third of August. We will be meeting at three thirty p.m. at the entrance to the A train at 44th Street and Eighth Avenue (Northwest corner). We board the train as a group no later than four o’clock p.m., proceeding to Rockaway Park in Queens. (On 44th Street right at the corner there is an Irish bar/restaurant called Smiths—if it’s really hot and you arrive early you could wait there for the group to gather. Otherwise stay outside at the subway entrance) We will take the train to the Rockaway Park exit and then take either the Q35 or Q22 bus to Riis Park Beach. Our final destination is the far east portion of the beach where clothing is optional. (Most naked people won’t have a problem with a group of people calling on ocean Gods.) Please feel free to bring an altar tool, talisman, or jewelry you would like charged and purified during the ritual.
Please make every effort to be on time; we are so looking forward to seeing you! Blessed Be.
A contribution of $10 is asked to help defray expenses
