Beltane Maypole Dance and Celebration: Temple of the Spiral Path

Come dance the Maypole Dance. Feel yourself becoming alive again, as the Light Half of the Year beckons. Bring a piece of ribbon at least 30 feet in length that represents a wish you have - be it healing, prosperity, peace, what have you! We will weave our intentions together and celebrate the ripeness of summer!

Please bring picnic food to share and blankets and/or camp chairs to make yourself comfortable. If you do bring picnic food, please label it clearly to assist those with allergies. No alcohol, please.

The Temple of the Spiral Path has been serving the community with open events since 1995. Our website is www.templeofthespiralpath.org, and you can sign up for our private email list there.

We will meet you at the benches just inside the park at 72nd Street and Central Park West (where the pedicabs gather, not on Central Park West's sidewalk itself) we will be holding a green spiral sign and wearing t-shirts emblazened with The Temple of the Spiral Path's logo . At around 1:45, we will lead you into the park to our ritual spot, which is just over Bow Bridge. We will have chalk marks on the pavement leading you to the event. Those who RSVP will get a phone number to track us down until the ritual starts.
