This Oktoberfest is a wonderful event that is put on by the Triad German Club. Besides some great German beer, the festival also will have traditional German food, such as bratwurst, wieners, sauerkraut, potato salad, pretzel rolls and home made pastries such as strudel. They even have kasseler rippchen, but you will have to go there to find out what that is.
This is NOT an official Beer Lovers event (i.e., no organizer will be attending). We just wanted to make you aware of this fun event that is coming. Maybe a few of you can get together to make a fun evening of this. If you go, I recommend getting there very early (4pm) so that you can get a good table and so you won't have to wait long in line for dinner. The beer line is never a problem - that moves pretty quickly.
Tickets are $10 in advance ($12 at the door) available at:
Mock Orange Bikes. 492 West End Blvd., Winston-Salem NC
Euro Deli Mart. 602 Hickory Ridge Dr., STE 102
