This meetup group can only work if everyone feels comfortable joining and participating in events. So here are a few ground rules. Failure to abide by the rules WILL result in your being removed from the group without warning.

** Behavior
Group members should never feel threatened by other members' behavior. This includes racist or sexist language, harrassment, or any other threatening behavior and will result in your being removed from the group. If you are uncomfortable with another member's behavior at events or on the website, let the organizer know right away. I AM VERY OPPOSED TO ANYONE DELIBERATELY BEING HURTFUL TO OTHER MEMBERS. I will notify you if I feel this is happening and you may be removed without warning.

Members are encouraged to use the website to contact each other when this is mutually desired, but please bear in mind that not everyone likes being contacted over email. Please respect other their privacy. Inactive members should NOT make a habit of contacting other members, as this makes a lot of people uncomfortable. If you want to get to know us, we'd love to have you come to a meetup. Otherwise, please filter comments and questions through the organizer.


** RSVP & Attendance
If you RSVP yes for an event, please try to attend the event or update your RSVP as soon as possible if your plans change. We understand that things come up at the last minute. But simply not showing up often means that we have to wait for you. On nights where the group has a reservation or tickets to an event, this can cause a problem.

**Please note if you RSVP yes to three or more events which you are a no-show you will be removed from the group**


** Solicitation
Please do not join or contact this group just so you can solicit traffic for your website, business, etc. Active members are welcome to use the message board to inform the group of events or organizations they are affiliated with if appropriate for the group (i.e., I've opened a new coffee shop, come check it out).

If you are not a member of this group and you email the org soliciting business, your message will be deleted.


** Event Fees
To keep the group running, we ask a $1 per-event fee for participation. This goes to reimburse the organizer for the monthly fee charged by Meetup.com. This is an honor system, so please do your part to support the group.
