Upcycled Cold Frame Construction Workshop

It's not too early to get your seeds started for the Spring. Come on out and learn about cold frame construction. Suggested donation for the workshop is $10.  For an additional $15 you can take the materials/or a constructed cold frame home with you.

If you want to take a cold frame or materials home with you please let us know so that we can be sure to have enough materials.

The cold frame sizes will be 24"x 28" or 24"x 26".  We will have a couple of types/sizes of windows that we will be working with, so there will be multiple sizes of boxes.

This workshop went really well! Thanks to all who came out. It was lovely to meet folks from the meetup group. Jacob did a great job teaching.

Sorry for late notice - think I've become contagious and don't want to share - have fun!

Hi Katie, thought workshop was cancelled when I rec'd your e-mail in January...

The workshop is on for tomorrow. I had to take it down from other meetup groups so we didn't get more registrations than we can handle in a workshop. You were on the list from another meetup group. Are you going to come tomorrow?

Great! Now it makes sense after seeing just 3 RSVPs when I got e-mail... I'll be there. :) See you then!

I'd be most interested in this course as well - any thoughts on offering another session?

Hi Folks. We'll be holding this workshop tomorrow, rain or shine! This will be a hands on workshop where we work together to construct 5 cold frames. Two have already been reserved by class participants. There are only 3 more available and they require a $25 donation (for the workshop plus materials). If you have not reserved a cold frame by emailing me you can let us know when you arrive tomorrow if you would like one. It will be a first come first served basis. If you do not get one tomorrow you will have the instructions necessary to go out and find your own materials in the event that you do not receive a cold frame. If you are not taking a cold frame home we suggest a $10 donation for the workshop. If you are taking a cold frame home we request a $25 donation for materials and time. Thank you! Looking forward to a fun afternoon tomorrow.

:( No more room. I'd love to attend, too, if there's a cancellation.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
