Creating New Collective Narratives: The search for a shared collective vision

Many of us perceive that our national discourse works against our needs. Much of the media messaging dwells on divisive messages that polarize us and keep us stuck, unable to address urgent challenges. We will discuss new narratives and techniques that could help create a more powerful shared collective vision. We will also watch a short video from Bill Moyer’s called: Distracted from Democracy. Suggested donation $5. Co-sponsored by Transition Durham.

Affordable healthy light fare/snacks and drinks will be served by the new EcoLounge Cafe beginning at 6 pm.

As always, come early and explore Recyclique’s co-op shop for
upcycled & vintage gifts, jewelry, books, sustainability
products and snacks. Hours: 3-6 pm Wed-Fri & 10-5 pm Saturdays.

Karl, This is an event by Transition Durham & there are 4 RSVPs from TAGH; Many homesteaders are very interested in approaches to building community resilience.

There are many, many approaches to building community resiliency that are related to Homesteading and Gardening - I can personally name two dozen in under 60 seconds. I don't see any of those in the posted description. Again - the focus of these posted meetups should be H&G.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
