A Homesteaders Dream: Keeping a small ruminant (goat and sheep)# 9663

Every homesteader starts out with a few small ruminants to clear land, milk or sheer. Whether you're planning on getting a ruminant now or years down the road this class will help get you started. We will discuss the rumen, what they eat and can't eat, housing, fencing and the best breeds for small scale situations.

This program is located at the Environmental Education Center. Follow the park road around (it is a one-way street) to the second parking lot. The building is the old blacksmith shop. Parking is free.
