Tulip Bark Baskets Make and Take!

Learn how to make a durable, beautiful basket out of Tulip Poplar bark, and take it home with you! 11am-1pm with a potluck at 1:30. Then, the sit + make will continue through the afternoon. Fun for all ages -- this is a great activity for kids who can handle simple hand tools like an awl and a knife. 20-50$ sliding scale donation.

Also...learn how to Scythe!

Without one drop of fossil fuels one can maintain a lawn or harvest an acre of grain elegantly with the scythe. Come learn about this old time yet applicable tool, care, maintenance, and the techniques to use it efficiently. Due to limited space, RSVP as soon as possible. 11am to 1pm, we will join the others to potluck at 1:30.
