What's your history with the classics so far?

Reread The Good Earth not too long ago and loved it but had no one to discuss it with - reread Return of the Native - again, the same problem - very frustrating

How much time do you have for reading or meetups?

A lot now - only working part-time now

Is there anything a school or college teacher made you swear you'd never read again?

The Call of the Wild - a teacher ripped it from my arms when I was 11 swearing that I could not POSSIBLY read or understand it

Is there anything you've been meaning to read but haven't quite got around to?

Bunches and bunches

Met Catherine over crepes and heard about the group - sounds great - I love to read and the best is to have someone to talk about the book with after I've read it.

What Christine is saying about this Meetup Group

Great! Good discussion as usual - interesting people
