You don't have to go at it alone.....

This is a locally run social group that is intended for local people coping with a divorce or separation. We have a team of organizers that host a variety of events in casual settings for socialization and support, plus assorted other activities. Many events are held in restaurants/bars, others in private homes or outdoor settings; some events are kid-friendly and some are for the grown-ups. Our goal is to host at least one event each week but our calendar typically includes scheduled events more often than weekly, and members frequently utilize the message board to organize "unofficial" get-togethers.

Very few of our events are 'structured' in a typical 'support group' format. The environment is friendly and supportive of everyone's individual needs and emotions. The value of our group is the opportunity to build friendships with members facing similar life changing issues, as well as those who have been where you are and not only survived, but are learning to thrive in their new lives. Check out the discussion threads for lots of helpful information, playful banter between members, and answers to your questions. Feel free to answer a few too! We are all here for each other.
