Let's have a Drinkup and Socialize #1

For over a year now Triangle DevOps has been meeting once a month and discussing various aspects of the technology and culture of DevOps. Yet like a good conference, it's often not the talks that you go for but the hallway track. This month it's entirely about the hallway track. We're hosting a drinkup at Fullsteam in Durham, on Tuesday, July 16.

Please note the change in date. At the request of Fullsteam we're meeting on Tuesday instead of Wednesday as they have a run club that meets on Wednesdays.

Also, why stop at just our group? Invitations for the drinkup have been extended to Triangle.rb as well so we can have more people out discussing the latest happenings in technology and the Triangle.

The event officially starts at 7pm. Please come find me at the event (I'll wear my Opscode shirt that night) and ask me for the password to the bar tab. That's right, Opscode and Adzerk are sponsoring a round or two of drinks (until we hit the limit of the money they've graciously provided). We ask that you please drink responsibly and not abuse this so that we can continue this in the future.

Please RSVP for this event so we can have a rough count of how many people will be present so Fullsteam can ensure they have enough bartenders on site to handle the crowd.

Dinner is not provided this time, however the American Meltdown food truck is scheduled to be onsite that night if you want to purchase something.

I look forward to seeing everyone and having some excellent conversations.

Thanks for the free beer! It was a good way to talk to people and make connections. I wish I had the chance to talk to more people though.

The plan is to do more drinkups in the future and to continue with the regular meetup, so you'll have lots of chances to chat with more people.

This was great opportunity to meet people in the group. This will make me more likely to attend future meetings since I now know a few people better. Thanks for making this happen.
