Learn About Relevance's CI Setup and How It Affects Operations

Triangle DevOps presents:

Larry Karnowski from Relevance, who will speak on Relevance's CI process and how it affects their operations.

When: Wednesday, June 20th at 7pm

Where: Bronto Software, Suite 410 in the American Tobacco District, Durham

Food: Bronto has agreed to provide pizza. If you would like some, please ensure you have RSVP'd several days before the event so enough can be ordered. If you have special dietary needs (vegetarian, etc) please let me know by answering the question when you RSVP.

How Larry describes his talk:

Continuous Integration is part of doing business when you're building

Agile software. When you're a consultancy like Relevance, you live

and breath CI. When our home-brewed CI server, hand-crafted by dozens

of developers, ground to a halt... how did we fix it? How did we make

it elastic to handle dozens of projects? How did we automate

replacing it? Which cloud did we use and why? How does all this fit

into our continuous delivery goals? And how much of our process have

we open-sourced? (A lot!)

Come hear a case study for automating the very thing that makes most

of your automation possible -- your continuous integration.

I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Great presentation on leveraging cloud services in supporting a CI setup. Loved the attention given to why certain options weren't chosen, and pitfalls encountered.
